Both men had their elections legally challenged.

Let’s make sure of you, though it doesn’t know how, who had kept challenged, by yourself.

The Bulgarian units, especially those of the 4th Infantry Division, had also suffered heavy casualties and needed the night for reorganization and better positioning of their artillery. General Kiselov was visited by both General Toshev and Colonel Tappen, Mackensen's chief of staff. Both men were pleased with the day's events, and, despite the heavy casualties, urged him to carry on with the attack. During the night of 5 September the Romanians established themselves as best they could on their much weaker secondary defensive position.

Jutland was a confused and bloody action involving 250 ships and around 100,000 men. Initial encounters between Beatty’s force and the German High Seas Fleet resulted in the loss of several ships. The Germans damaged Beatty’s flagship, HMS Lion, and sank HMS Indefatigable and HMS Queen Mary, both of which blew up when German shells hit their ammunition magazines. Beatty withdrew until Jellicoe arrived with the main fleet. The Germans, now outgunned, turned for home. The British lost 14 ships and over 6,000 men, but were ready for action again the next day. The Germans, who had lost 11 ships and over 2,500 men, avoided complete destruction but never again seriously challenged British control of the North Sea.

He had actually decided to kill them but was struck by Tokiwa Gozen's feeling for her children and decided to spare them their lives. と言う感じかなと思っているのですが、分からない箇所と言うのが、最後の ”and decided to spare them their lives.” ”decide to spare their lives

And much of the lifestyle of "affluence" that we associate with that era rested on the employment of women who, in the past, had not held jobs and who were now reflecting both the economic pressures of their society and the social pressures of a culture that offered no sanction for sex quality or a life of independence and free choice for women.

文の構成について ensure groups have had all their answered questions marked, are in their seats この文は、どういう構造で、どのように訳せばいいのでしょうか。 1) ensure groups have (A) 2) ensure groups are in their seats. (A) - had all their answered questions marked all their answered
