The Blond Blintz.

70年代の刑事ドラマからです。お願いします。 刑事Aはパートナーである刑事B（ブロンドです）を、 The Blond Blintz.と呼ぶことがあります。 （Bはこう呼ばれるのはいかにも不愉快そう） たとえば、 トラック無線で、ふざけて、こんなふうに話しかけたり。 This is the Puce Goose, and I'm with my pal, the Blond Blintz, and we're heading west. Anybody out there? blintzはWikiで調べました。 どんな食べ物かはわかりました。 ”blintz”って、どんなイメージなのか、教えてください。 お時間ありましたら、お願いします。

Gです。　 ユダヤ人とは「ドラマの中では」関係ないみたいですね。　そうでしたら、二つの可能性がまだ残っていますので書いてみますね。 ひとつは、普通のblitzと言う単語から来るGo getterのフィーリングです。　金髪のGo-getterと言う感じですね。　やり手、と言うイメージがあるわけですが、Blondeの持つ「非やり手」とくっつけたのかもしれませんね。 もうひとつは完全なトラック運ちゃんあだなとして使えるものだと思いますが、ドイツかイタリアが英国をアタックした飛行機（作戦）をBlitzと言います。　そこからつけられたのかもしれません。　イタリア人かドイツ人の血を引いているのかもしれません。 自分勝手につけるあだ名の状況であるみたいなので脚本家が何を考えているのかはちょっと情報が足りないかな、と思いますが、今日書いたどちらにしてもドラマ自体を見て二人の間柄や背景を知らないと無理じゃないかなと思われる範囲にある質問じゃないかな、と思います。 ではまた書いてみてください。

I'm afraid that maybe "I" don't have enough information to show you to solve this question, though I've been enjoying a lot of episodes so far. But, it was interesting for me to try to find out where this word comes from and also this kind of thing really encourages me a lot to learn more. Gです。　こんにちは！ この人ユダヤ人じゃありませんか? Blintzとあだ名がついた非純粋ユダヤ人の友達が高校生ごろからいい意味でのあだ名として呼ばれています。　皮肉ったあだ名ではなく親しみを感じるようでこの人は別に気にしていないみたいです。 ご存知だと思いますが、ユダヤ人の多くの髪の毛の色は東洋人並ですね。　よってBlonde Jewの代わりに使われている、と思ったわけです。　Natural Blonde Jewと言う表現は良く聴きますね。 その他にはBlondeのBLとごろをあわせていつも食べているBlitzと一緒にしたニックネームなのではないでしょうか。 これでいかがでしょうか。　分かりにくい点がありましたら、補足質問してください。

こんにちは。 回答ありがとうございます。 ＞ユダヤ人じゃ うーん、違うんですよねー。 ただ、 A本人は（役柄でなく）ユダヤ系です。 ＞BlondeのBLとごろをあわせて これは考えつきませんでした！！ いかにも彼がcome up withしそうな感じがします! 彼ら自身のbackgroundも考えあわせると、 納得できそうです。 ありがとうございました！

こんにちわ。 Blintzについては、多分、刑事Bの出身国（おそらく、東欧の出身かと）を茶化して位の感じではないでしょうか？ でも、中国人に“餃子野郎”とか、日本人に“スシマン”とか言うようなノリになると思うので、不愉快は不愉快でしょうね。(^^;) 　 ひょっとしたら、Blintzと言われている事よりはむしろ、Blondと言われているほうが不愉快なのかもしれません。 アメリカではBlond（金髪）＝バカというイメージが（最近ではさべつになるのであまり言わないようですが・・・）強くあります。 “あいつバカだなー。金髪だからしょうがねえか”みたいな落ちの、Blond Jokeなるものまであります。 ご参考程度に♪

こんにちは。 私の、本当にささやかな疑問におつきあいくださって、 ありがとうございます。 ＞東欧の出身かと 役の上では、 born in Duluth, Minnesota と話している場面がありましたが。 ただ、 彼本人の（役柄の上ではなく）backgroundとして、 mid-Westernで育ったと、雑誌か何かで読んだことがあります。 ＞中国人に“餃子野郎”とか おっしゃるとおりですね！よくわかります。 問題は、Blintzの”イメージ”ではなく、”出身”ということのようですね。＾＾； ＞Blond（金髪）＝ そのためにわざわざ染めているという話もありますよね。 Winona Ryderさんだったような…（違うかも）？ ありがとうございました。
