まず最初の部分→We mentioned knowledge engineering as one of the newly emerging discriplines sparked by the Information Age, similar to how the Industrial Revolution gave rise to mechanical and electrical engineering. 文を簡単に解読できるように少し変えるとこんな感じになります↓ We mentioned knowledge engineering as one of the disciplines sparked by the Information Age. This is similar to how the Industrial Revolution gave rise to mechanical and electrical engineering. Let us quote Peter Druker once again. The knowledge we now consider knowledge proves itself in action ↑この文には続きはないですか??

What we now mean by knowledge is information effective in action , information focused on results . Result are outside the person , in society and economy , or in the advancement of knowledge itself.~ 一応私が和訳したものも下に示します。

It is the use we make of the powers entrusted to us, which constitutes our only just claim to respect. He who employs his one talent aright is as much to be honored as he to whom ten talents have been given. There is really no more personal merit attaching to the possession of superior intellectual powers than there is in the succession to a large estate. How are those powers used how is that estate employed? The mind may accumulate large stores of knowledge without any useful purpose; but the knowledge must be allied to goodness and wisdom, and embodied in upright character, otherwise it is naught.

There's an English author named Neil Gaiman who has a good quote in regards to what you're saying. He said, "Most of us only find our own voices after we've sounded like a lot of other people." I think this is just a stage in the creative journey!

It is salutary to realize the fundamental isolation of the individual mind. We have no certain knowledge of any consciousness but our own. We can only know the world through our own personality. Because the behaviour of others is similar to our own, we suppose that they are like us; it is a shock to discover that they are not. As i grow older I am more and more amazed to discover how great are the differences between one man and another. I am not far from believing that everyone is unique.

That helps it retain skilled engineers. “The skills base we are talking about and the scale of the programs require us to be able to move folks around,” he said. “The visa issue is significant.”

From this statement of the case it will be apparent that our knowledge of mental activities in any organism other than our own is neither subjective nor objective. That it is not subjective I need not wait to show. That it is not objective* may be rendered obvious by a few moments' reflec tion. .For it is evident that mental activities in other organisms can never be to us objects of direct knowledge ; as I have just said, we can only infer their existence from the objective sources supplied by observable activities of such organisms.. Therefore all our knowledge of mental activities other than our own really consists of an inferential inter pretation of bodily activities — this interpretation being founded on our subjective knowledge of our own mental activities. By inference we project, as it were, the known patterns of our own mental chromograph [chromograph=chromolithograph] on what is to us the otherwise blank screen of another mind ; and our only knowledge of the processes there taking place is really due to such a projection of our own subjectively. This matter has been well and clearly presented by the late Professor Clifford, who has coined the exceedingly appropriate term eject (in contradistinction to subject and object), whereby to designate the distinctive character of a mind (or mental process) other than our own in its relation to our own. I shall therefore adopt this convenient term, and speak of all our possible knowledge of other minds as ejective.

In Europe we use different type of electrical plugs. Japan and US use the same type. Europe uses round pins. And in the UK they use another type of plugs. I will bring a conversion plug from my work for you. So you don't need to bring anything, ok? For your mobile phone, maybe it's better to disable data access when going outside of Japan. In Europe it will be really expensive for you. Does your mobile phone have wifi?
