TOEFLのプラクティステストにある問題で理解できません(3)
(W) Basketball practice doesn't take a lot of time, does it? (M) Only every spare minute. (narrator) What does the man imply about basketball practice? この会話文で、回答は It takes up a large amount of time. なのですが、私はほんのちょっとの時間だけだ、と 解釈したので、回答と合いません。どのように 解釈すればよろしいでしょうか？ よろしくご回答お願いいたします。

'spare'ってとこがポイントだと思います。 女の方が「バスケットってあんまり練習しなくていいんでしょ」っていってますよね。そこでバスケット選手（であろう）男の人が「なんだと？？」というか、皮肉った感じで、「暇なときはいつでも練習するよ」（って感じかな・・・）と答えています。 only たった、これだけ every すべての spare 余った minute 分、時間 every spare minuteっていうことは時間ができたら一分も浪費しないで、と言うことでしょう。Onlyは女性の言うことを受けて、隠喩的に反論、強調しているのだと思います。 一応英語の話せる一般人の見解ですので、専門家の方がお答えして下さったら、そちらの方を参考にされるとよりよいかと思います。

＃１さんのお答えでよいのです。 Ｍ(男性)の言葉は 直訳で 「余った時間(minuteだから、少しでも余ればというニュアンス)全部だけだよ」 つまり 「あいてる時間はいつでもやってるだけだよ」 と言ったんですね。 明日の試験頑張って下さいね。

The almuni of this junior-highschool take an increasing amount of time between high school and college. この意味は、、、特にincreasing amount of timeのくだりが微妙なのですが、 この中学校の卒業生は、高校とカレッジの間にぶらぶらしている期間が長い…？ 長くなっている傾向にある？？ ということでしょうか？

下記英文の解釈をお教え願います。 How long does it take to get there? （そこへはどのくらい時間がかかるのですか） 下記のように解釈しましたが、how long を名詞（目的語）と解釈することに疑問を 感じております。how longは副詞では？ と感じております。 主語→it＝to get there 述語動詞→take 目的語→how long how longはtakeの目的語で名詞と考えて良いの でしょうか？ 宜しくお願いします。

時間を表す時のtakeの使いかたついて混乱しています。例えば“その駅に行くには３０分かかる”という時、It takes thirty minutes to get to the station, あるいは The station takes thiry minutes to get to. と２通り言えると思うのですが、 では She takes a lot of time to get dressed. はどのような構文になるのでしょうか？ It takes a lot of time to get her dressed. だと“誰かが着替えさすのに”時間がかかるということですよね？ 例えば“私は、朝仕事に行く準備をするの時間がかかる”は I take a lot of time to get ready for work in the morning. でいいでしょうか？ もしOKとしたら、これは It takes me a lot of time to get ready for work in the morning. と言えますか？何か違和感があような・・ 混乱してきました・・
