文章全体の意味はご理解なされた上で、 なぜ it had a little dietary history of its own ⇒「体つきがちょっと違った」という訳になるのか？ という部分にだけの疑問と理解させて頂きます。 特に前後の文章や全体のストーリー、登場人物の背景などは質問者様ご自身の方がよく把握されてると思うので、疑問に思われた部分についてだけ。 Dietは、食物という意味で使われる事も有り、日本語のダイエット（減量）と全く同じ意味で使われる事もあるという事はご存知だという前提で進めます。 「体つきがちょっと違った」の前後の訳文が判らないのですが、 確かにits ownはポロシャツ自身の事を指してますから、BrendaのDietary historyでは無い（『ブレンダの』体つきがちょっと違ったと訳すのはおかしい）と感じるかもしれませんね。 ある意味で、ポロシャツはダイエットしませんからDietary historyなんてある筈はないですしね。 ただ、ブレンダのポロシャツには彼女の体形の今と昔の違い（Dietary history）が現れている（つまりサイズが合っていない）と解釈すると、『体つきがちょっと違った』という意訳になるのではないでしょうか？ 英文側がit had Brenda's dietary history on it. だと疑問に思われなかったという事かな？

That was arranging horseback riding lessons . I figured if this person had horses , then chances are I could probably arrange some lesson. I had another reason for wanting to talk to a psychologist . That being I wanted to tell her all about Philip and ask her professional opinion . 英語の訳がなかなか上手く繋がりません、一応訳してみたものの、あっているか不安なんです。なので訳の方もアドバイスをください。 『Mond was pleased with her work.』の訳が『モードは喜んで働いた』 『My Anne is a real human girl.』の訳が『私のアンは本当に人間味のある女の子です』 『She is everything in the story. 回答ありがとうございます。 いえ、食の歴史が何故、体つきと関係あるのか分からなかったのです。 ダイエットが脂肪を落とす歴史のことなら、体型に密接に関係が出て来ますね。
