cause の否定表現ってあるのでしょうか？？

The traffic accident prevented us from attending the meeting.を The traffic accident caused us not to attend the meeting.とは言えますか？

間違いでありませんが、回りくどいので to be absent from the meeting to stay away from the meeting の方がいいでしょう。

１。cause の否定表現ってあるのでしょうか？？ はい、あります。 　例えば、A GPA does not cause accidents, the driver does. 「カーナビが事故を起こすのではない、運転しているものが起こすのだ」 ２。The traffic accident prevented us from attending the meeting.を 　　The traffic accident caused us not to attend the meeting.とは言えますか？ 　言えますが、あまり言わないですね。
