拙いながらも英語の勉強のためにやっている英語の簡単なブログにて、飼い猫4匹のうち3匹は普通にお風呂が嫌いだけど、残り1匹だけは喜んで自分から浴槽に入ろうとするという話を書いたところ、外国人の方より「that's neat! I once jumped in the bath with my human wasn't fun. You ever see a fat cat move?!? 」というコメントをいただきました。 ニュアスも上手く掴めず（特に最後の一文の意味が分かりません）、どう返答すればいいのか困っています。 どなたかこのコメントの翻訳とこれにどう返答すればいいのかアドバイスを頂けないでしょうか？何卒よろしくお願いいたします。

英語を日本語に翻訳して頂けませんか？ こんばんは！現在、大学１年生の者なのですが、私はほとんど英語が分かりません。ですが大学では英語の授業は毎週あるし、「分かりません」を授業で連発すれば単位は取得できません。そこで、私なりに努力をしようと思い、授業のある前週には予習（英文の翻訳）をしています。 しかし、今週は別の授業の宿題が多く、翻訳する時間がありません…そこで、下記の英文を日本語に翻訳して頂けないでしょうか？ Gary Lewis loved his car. But it was an old car, so he often needed to fix it. One December morning, at his home in Denver, USA Gary wanted to fix his car. He drove it onto some blocks. He lay on the ground under the car. Then he started work. Suddenly, the car fell off the blocks. It fell onto Gary. The car weighed 1,200 kilograms. Gary couldn't move but he could shout for help. Raymond Brown, aged thirteen, and his nine-year-old sister Tamika were playing in the street. They were playing with their friends Omar Turner, aged ten, Gordon Stevens, nine, and Shugey Shead, eight, They heard Gary shouting and ran to help. Together, the five children lifted the car Gary. オンラインゲームで外国の方と翻訳辞書を片手に片言で喋りながら仲良くなったのですが、ちょっと困った事があります。 なんとなく言っていることは分かるのですが、訳し方が何パターンかあって、 それによって意味が全然違ってくるので詳しい方に翻訳をお願いしたいと思い質問させて頂きました。 ok budd i gotta log off "it's 5am here" but i didn't wanna leave you there by your self i did send you a friend request so we can jam again sometime "ok see ya later" という文章なのですが、特に”でくくった部分で迷っています。 ログアウトするということですが、"it's 5am here"が 「こっちは今５時だから(寝る為に)ログアウトするよ」という意味なのか 「５時にここに戻って来るよ」という意味なのか…。 それによって後の、"ok see ya later"が 「また会おう」になるのか、「また後でね」になるのかで 意味が違ってくるしで、さっぱり分かりません。 自分で翻訳しろよって話なのですが、翻訳辞書を通しても全て直訳で全く意味の分からない分に翻訳するので困っています。 詳しい方がおられましたら、お答えお願い致します。

質問のタイトルが長くて申し訳ありません。 日本語と英語両方わかっていなければ、歌詞の翻訳はできないですよね？日本語がわからない外国人が英語に翻訳できますか？ これはずっと疑問に思っていることなのです。今日アニメソングが英語に翻訳されているのをご存知かと思います。 番組では日本語の歌詞がテレビから流れます。やがてＣＤが発売されます。日本語の歌詞です。漢字もひらがなもカタカナもあります。それが英語に翻訳されていたら、「英語と日本語を聞く、読む」両方の力を持っていないとできないですよね？ あるとき、発売されたばかりのアニメソングが英語に翻訳されていたので、思い切ってyou tubeの投稿者に質問をしてみたのです。 そうしたら「何を言っているのかわからないのです。申し訳ありません」と言われてしまいました。わたしの英語のどこが伝わらなかったのか教えていただけますか？ わたしが今までずっと思っていたことは、日本語の歌詞を英語に翻訳するには、 1) その日本人は英語がよくわかるエキスパート、語彙、表現力など絶対必要。 ２）その日本人ではない人（例えばアメリカ人）は、日本語のエキスパート、読む、書く、聞く力ももちろん必要だと尾思いいます。そういう能力がないと歌詞の翻訳できないですよね？、というのがこちらの質問の意味です。 わたしが相手の方に送った英語です。ご指摘よろしくお願いいたします。 相手の方は中国人でした。日本語はまったくわからないといっていました。 Thank you for you message ! It seems to me as if I had a dream . I didn't believe that you did even if you didn't understand Japanese. If I didn't understand how to speak English, I would never translate whatever I would do.
