＞wherebyのところはwhereでも同じように思えるのですが、何が違うのでしょうか？ ⇒whereだけなら、単に「そこで（買い物ができる）」ですが、wherebyとすることによって、「そこを利用して、そのシステムをつてにして（そのおかげで買い物ができる）」というニュアンスをつけ加えていると思います。

ぼくが文法事項を説明するので，みんな眉につばつけてね（笑）。 whereby は副詞で，「新システムによって」と解されます。 where は関係代名詞になりますが，その先行詞にsystem をとるのは，ちょっと変に感じます。文を重ねて（？）書くと customers can make their purchases and make payments with credit cards <by/on/with the online ordering system> となりますので，2語で by/on/with which ならつなげられると思います。 ほんとかなあ？
