varsity sports

For the past four years (I'm a senior) I have worked super hard, taken lots of AP classes, played varsity sports, done service, etc. varsity sportsとは何でしょうか？よろしくお願いします

　varsity sportsとは何でしょうか？ 　varsity sportsとは、下記のような場合で、その大学を代表するチーム（いくつかあるチームの中で、一番できのいい選手が属するチーム）いわばAチームです。　　https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varsity_team 　アメリカなら男子のアメフト、女子ならバスケ、などがこのスポーツに入ります。ですから「大学でのスポーツは、トップチームにいた」ということでしょう。
