I'll give you whichever ticket you prefer. という文があるのですが、これは I'll give you a ticket whichever you like. としても正解ですか？

正解じゃありません。 whichever は関係代名詞の一種ではありますが、 普通の which のように、先行詞があるわけじゃありません。 whichever だけで「～するものはどれでも」 「どんな ticket でも」の意味にしたいなら whichever ticket とします。 これは疑問詞の what/which で what subject which subject となるのと同じパターンで、 関係代名詞的な発想とは別のものです。 一応、日本ではこういう＋名詞になる場合は関係形容詞と言ったりします。
