英語のセリフ 和訳おねがいします
"Rather be off murderin’ a pint, but this’ll do." ゲーム内のキャラクター（アイルランド系アメリカ人女性）のセリフ。うまく訳せないです。 特別な状況で言うセリフではありません。口癖のようなものかもしれない。

murderの中には、食べ物や飲み物を、ガツガツ食べる、飲む、楽しむと言う様な意味があります。アイルランド絡みでググると、 murder a pint と言う言い回しが結構出てきますが、a pintはビールを１パイント。 ex. http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/language/theenglishwespeak/2012/05/120515_tews_71_murder_something.shtml http://www.tripadvisor.com/Travel-g186591-c2351/Ireland:Irish.Slang.html this'll do は、定型的に”それで十分”見たいに使われます。 ただそれぞれ、”こう訳さないといけない”と言う程かっちりしたものでもなさそうです。そうすると、その時の雰囲気にもよるのですが、 「いっそ、いっぱい飲むのをやめよう（やめろ）。これで十分だ。」 みたいな感じでしょうか？

ありがとうございます。参考になりました。 アルコールやドラッグの依存症で薬物をやめたがってるという背景がある人物なので、自分に言い聞かせているのであれば自然な気がします。 口語調だと「いっそ、一杯の楽しみをやめてしまおう。それでいいんだ。」のような感じか。
