前便で誤字がありました（意義→異議）ので、これを訂正しがてら、訳文などを追加して再度お答えします。 （回答再送分） ＞（１）章タイトルの Challenging Conceptions of Grammar のchallengingのうまい訳がありますでしょうか？ ⇒「（既存の概念・認識・説明に対して）異議を申し立てる（ような）」というほどの意だと思います。まさしくChallenging「挑戦」ですね。 ですから、Challenging Conceptions of Grammarは、「既存の認識に挑戦する文法書」とか「既存の概念に異議を申し立てる文法研究」といった感じではないでしょうか。 ＞（２） I do so motivated by my convictions that we language educators have to change the way we think about the elements of language, ... のI do so motivated ですが，なぜam ではなくdoなのでしょうか？ ⇒このdoは本動詞、つまり、「～する」という意味でしょう。「私は、―によって動機づけられてそうするのです。」とか「私がそうするのは、―によって動機づけられたからです。」といったニュアンスではないでしょうか。 ですから、I do ～ languageを訳せば、 「我々言語教育者は、言語の要素について考える方法を変えるべきであるとの信念に動機づけられて私はそうするのです」とか「私がそうするのは、我々言語教育者は言語の要素に関する考え方を変えるべきであるとの信念に動機づけられたからです」 といった感じになるでしょう。 以上、再伸まで。

Let him work out, with the help of other children if he wants it, what this word says, what the answer is to that problem, whether this is a good way of saying or doing this or not.

文中の「x」は、AIのソフト名です。 I tried to process those files using x, but indeed, many were too short, too quiet or simply contained no voice but breathing sounds I think. I did not reply earlier because I still wanted to try another method that I think can still be useful for at least some or most of these files. The question is if this data coming from users using the system made for our integration, or are these taken in a mocked setting? If there was a way to make the user talk just a bit more, I think we would do better. What I will do next, is add a method in x to allow direct processing of buffers, so at least we will be able to force out the raw values of every buffer. This will take me few days I guess.
