- 20k pcs from PO01 and 50k pcs from PO02, can the shipping be expedited?
- The current response from our company is that PO01 will be shipped on February 9th and PO02 will be shipped on February 26th. Can they be shipped any sooner?
- We would like advice on whether it is possible to expedite the shipping by a few days. As for the PO02, which is scheduled to be shipped on February 26th, we would like to provide a response after checking the production status of other items.

お客様より納期を早めてほしいとの依頼がありました。下記です。 I would like to check and see if there is any possibility of shipping the 20k pcs from PO01, and the first release of 50k pcs from PO02 any sooner than they are currently scheduled. PO01は2/9出荷、PO02は2/26出荷予定との当社の回答に対し、早まらないかというものです。その回答のアドバイスをお願いします。 伝えたい内容は、「現在生産ラインが混雑しているので、できても2～3日程度の前倒し。2/26日出荷のPO02に関しては、他生産の状況を見て後日回答したい」です。 失礼のない、でもまわりくどくもない英語での表現を教えていただきたいです。ちなみにアメリカの会社です。

その様な状況でしたら、少し言い方を変えましょう。 Thank you for your e-mail requesting for early shipment. We would like to see how much we can meet your request. With extremely busy production at present time, it does not look very promising unfortunately to advance the shipment so much, however we may be able to advance it by 2 or 3 days for P001. As for P002, we would like to check more in details before we reply to you. While we try to meet your request as much as possible, we appreciate your understanding to the situation. We thank you again for your e-mail and interest in our xxxxx. best regards, という選択肢もあります。xxx は商品名でよろしいかと思います。 文化の違いと言えばそうなのですが、米国の会社が相手であれば一般的にはあまり期待させておいて「努力を買ってもらおう」というよりも、淡々と早めにできること、できないことをはっきりと伝える方が長期の取引関係に必須となる「信頼」につながります。

早速ご回答ありがとうございます！ 相手先は3年ほど前から取引をしているアメリカの会社です。 つい先日まで商社を介して取引しておりましたが、今回、直接取引をすることになり、はじめて受注があったものです。こちらの状況としましては、ぎりぎりの納期で組んでおりますので、正直なところ納期を詰めるのは苦しいのですが、でき状況によっては２～3日程度だったら早められるかな～といったことろで、「厳しいけれども最大の努力はしますよ」というニュアンスが伝えられたら良いと思ったのですが。。。 大変参考になりました。助かりました！

システムのマニュアルの英訳の件で、いつもこちらでお世話になっております。 度々ですみませんが、いろんな方のご意見を頂ければ幸いです。 このマニュアルは受注データや納品データを作成するためのものです。 出荷日、着荷日、受注日などを入力すると、自動的にそれらが指定されたデータと注文書が作成されます。しかしそれらの日付がカレンダーに存在しなかったり、おかしな数字だとエラーメッセージがでます。それエラー条件として記載しようとしているのですが、下記の英訳で悩んでいます。 （和文） エラー条件 1.カレンダーに無い日が着荷日になる場合。 2.出荷日・着荷日・受注日の日付がおかしい場合。 3.出荷日が現在の物流日付より古い、又はリミットオーバーの場合。 4.受注日が今日以降、又は１ヶ月以上前の場合。 （私の考えた英文） An error will occur 1.
