訳はこれでよろしいのでしょうか。
英語の授業で、訳がよく分からなかったのですが、次のような訳でよろしいのでしょうか。 It is big and international, and it seems very busy and noisy to many people who like a quiet life. それは大きく国際的です。また、それは、静かな生活が好きなたくさんの人たちにとって騒がしく非常に忙しいように思われる。 でよろしいのでしょうか。お願いします。

＞It is big and international, and it seems very busy and noisy to many people who like a quiet life. それは大きく国際的です。また、それは、静かな生活が好きなたくさんの人たちにとって騒がしく非常に忙しいように思われる。 意味はよいと思います。 少し変えてみましたが [それは大きく、また国際的です。そして、静かな生活を送りたいと思う人々にとっては、とても忙しく、また騒々しい様でもあります] 「それ」が指すものが何か興味が引かれる所です。 何かの施設の様なものか、ある国や地域の事か、或いはオリンピックの様な行事の事でしょうか。

それというのは、場所・地名がくるとすれば、「そこは」と訳すとよいでしょう。 それから、「思われる」ではなく、「思います」と「です・ます」調で文体に合わせるか、 逆に、「国際的だ」と、「思われる」と文体を合せるとなおよいと思います。 内容的には問題ないと思います。

もっと日本語らしく訳すと それは壮大且つ国際的である。そして平穏な生活を好む多数の住人たちの多くにとっては非常に慌しく、喧騒に満ちているようにも感じられる。

Even if it is difficult, it is necessary to communicate with people speaking foreign languages in business, politics, science and many other activities. （たとえそれが難しくても、ビジネスや政治、化学、そして他の多くの活動において、外国語を話す人々と意思の疎通をすることが必要です。） この文のspeakingという語がなぜ進行形になってるのか、わかりません。進行形なら訳は「外国語を話している（最中の）人々と」になるはず。 というのは、私の知識では、peopleとspeakingの間にwho are を入れればpeople who are speakingという風に「人々」と「話す」が主語と述語の関係になるから・・・という考えなのですが、これ間違っていますか？ ご指摘、もしくはアドバイスお願い致します。

中学の教科書の文なので簡単だとは思いますが… 「Language is the life of the people who use it.」 です。 私の予想では、「言語はそれを話す人々の生活です」なんですが…？ は！？ってカンジです。。(^_^;) 全然意味わからないです。。 直訳、お願いしま～す☆
