私はイギリスに住んでました。 さて、VATについては前に書かれた人の通りの消費税みたいなものですが、もし日本向けに輸出するとなるとすると、必要なくなる可能性が出てくると思います。旅行者にはVATが還元されるようなこともありますので、この部分については確認をされたほうが良いかと思います。 たとえば You have stated price is exc. VAT and transport. Does VAT applies to my case ?

一応輸入業者です。 VATについては他の方が答えてらっしゃるからおわかりだと思います。ので補足。 経緯や何を輸入しようとしてらっしゃるのかもわかりませんし、やや不思議な英語ですが、大意を訳すとこんな感じ？ こんにちは。 我々のサービスに関心をもってくださってありがとう。 最少発注数量は200個です。添付の価格表を確認してください。（以下は価格表についての条件説明） 発注数500個 DMM加工：（こちらの方が安い） 190ユーロ 複製：1.21ユーロ（1ユニットあたり） 価格には消費税と運賃（普通はfreightといいますが…）を含まない。 ご不明な点については、お気軽に問い合わせてください。 DMMということは、プラスチックかメディアでしょうか。ラッカー仕上げに比べて安いということかな。あくまで想像ですが。

ありがとうございます。 そうなんですよーーレコード盤なんですけどね、DMM盤と いうのが存在するんですよ。 でも500個発注しても190ユーロって安いですよね！

VATというのは付加価値税（Value Added Tax）といって日本の消費税の様な間接税です。 ちなみに見積もり価格には付加価値税と運送費を含まないと書いてあります。

海外通販のサイトで、海外配送を選択しても表示価格がVAT込みの価格のままだった為、 VATは免税にならないか問い合わせしたところ、下記の内容で返事が来ました。 どうやら免税にはならないようなのですが・・・ その理由がよく分かりません。 §4 No. 1 a §6 UStG が特に意味不明なのですが どなたか翻訳お願いできないでしょうか。 The price shown on the webpage will be same amount stated on your invoice. However, your delivery will be a tax exempt export and therefore, according to §4 No. 1 a §6 UStG the invoice amount contains no VAT. So, to answer your question, the VAT will not be deducted. For futher questions do not hesitate to contact us again.

ありがとうございます。 イギリスに住んでたんですかぁ。うらやましい。 税金VATの件聞いてみます。 DMM processing (it is cheaper): 190 EURって 恐らくDMMというレコード盤を最低枚数、 200枚プレスすると、190EURだよって言ってるんですよね。 日本円でおよそ26000円って事？ですか？ replication: 1,21 EUR p/unit は1枚あたりの単価ですよね。なんか英語不得意 ですけど、お金となれば、もっと不安（笑）。 でもありがとうございました。知らなかった事 わかりましたし。
