以前のご相談の最後の文すべてを関係代名詞 that を使って書き変えると Placement of the pivot point should correspond to placement of the pivot point of client’s original growth that can be seen. となります。 関係代名詞 that の先行詞は２番目の placement で of the pivot point of client’s original growth はそれを修飾し placement of the pivot point of client’s original growth はその placement が核となって形成される名詞句になっています。これが私が最初にお示しした直訳の「利用者の本来の発毛の旋毛の配置」に該当する部分です。 これに関係代名詞節 that can be seen による説明が加えられているのは、この配置が必ずしも利用者の本来の発毛の旋毛の位置に限らず、「利用者の本来の発毛の旋毛の位置に見える位置への配置」であればよいという意味です。 文は最初の placement of the pivot point 、つまり、「これから設けようとしている旋毛の配置」が上記の「利用者の本来の発毛の旋毛の位置に見える位置への配置」に一致するべきだということを意味しています。

Placement of the pivot point should correspond to what can be seen of the client’s original growth. という訳を、 旋毛をどの位置にするかは、ご利用者の本来の発毛による旋毛の位置に見えるように決めてください と訳していただきました。 ですが、直訳すると （客の本来の成長している旋毛（つむじ）の位置は、みられることができるものに一致するべきだ） と訳が出てきますが、なぜ上記のような訳にでるのでしょうか。 たんに、僕が頭の回転が悪いのだと思いますが、 なんか、うまく訳せるこつを教えてください。

文法に強い方、御教授下さい。 Europe's added values come from the quality of life it delivers rather than the growth rates, but even on the traditional metrics of economic performance, Europe's record is far more respectable than its American critics imply. これを以下のように訳してみました： 生活の質によってもたらされる欧州の付加価値は、経済成長を生み出しただけでなく、経済パフォーマンスに関する伝統的な基準からしても、欧州の業績は米国の批評家が示唆する以上に立派なものである。 しかし、どうも、しっくりきません。 多分、"life it delivers"と部分の文法的な繋がりがよく理解していないのが原因だと思っているのですが、自分としては、"values"と"come"の間の"which"が省略されているとした上で、"Europe's added values"と"it"を同格として考えてみました（"life, it delivers"だったら何となく納得なんですが、、、）。 また、"the growth rates"ではなく、何を"delivers"したのかも、よく分かりません。ただ"the growth rates以上の経済パフォーマンス"ということなんでしょうか？ 宜しくお願いします！
