(1)訳：そこにこんなに美しい湖があるとは誰も夢見なかった。 dream を動詞として使うと dream of と 前置詞 of が続くのが標準。名詞（例 our success）が続くのであれば、そのままで良いが、節内容を続ける場合は、「主語を残したまま、動名詞化」(that 節では不可)という手順が必要。 There was such a beautiful lake there. → there being such a beautiful lake there. (1)dreamを例にとり説明します。夢見る、想像するには 「～を夢見る」と言います。この「を」以下を目的語（単語）、目的節（文章）と呼んでいます。 a.I dreamed of studying abroad. 留学することを夢みていた。 b.I dreamed that I would study abroad. 留学することを夢見ていた。 両者同じ意味で、of, that 以下をそれぞれ「～を、～ということを」となります。 aでは of の後には、名詞、代名詞（目的格）I → me, 動詞は動名詞（ing) play→playing とする英語の決まりがあります。 obody dreamed 誰も想像しなかった、夢見なかった 何を→そこにそんな美しい湖があることを there is such a bezutiful lake there この二文を一つにすると、 （of を使うと）Nobody dreamed of there being such a beautiful lake there. is が be の ing 形 being に変わっています。 （that を使うと）Nobody dreamed that there was such a beautiful lake there. dreamed に時を一致させて、was となります。会話ではisということがあります。 尚すべての動詞がof のような前置詞を伴うと決まっているわけではありせん。またthat のような接続詞をとるとも決まっていませんので、それぞれの動詞の特性を辞書で調べてください。 (2) hope, afraid, afraid of 上記同様に「～を」を伴う動詞ですが、 I hope so. そうであることを願う、（そうであればいいのですが） I don't hope so. そうであることを願わない。（そうでないといいのですが） hope は that で繋ぐこともできます。 I hope that the train is not crowded. 電車が混んでいなければいいのですが。 このhopeやthink などは最初に否定することの方が多いようです。発想の違いでしょうね。 i don't hope that the train is croweded. 混んでいることを望まないのように。 I'm afraid (of. that)を恐れる、こわがる、～になるのではないかと心配する、懸念磨る、～にならないかと懸念する I'm afraid of snakes. 蛇を怖がる。蛇がこわい。 I'm not afraid of snakes. 蛇はこわくない。 I'm afraid that I will not get there in time. There was once a time, and not so long ago either, when everybody couldn't express his own opinion. and not so long ago either, は挿入で、「かつてと言ってもそれほど昔ではないが」と訳されていましたが、 not ～ either の使い方がよくわかりません。「もまた～ない」という意味だと思いますが、何と何のことを否定しているのですか。

I wanna try a song about being blonde, blondes. I was trying to think okay what I have to say. Well, I'm a blonde and blondes are more fun. There is several against them. I decided to play with it and I get sick out of it at the same time. I am totally forgot 'o person and I know that. So it's like yeah, I'm blonde so I'm sorry and I get kind of quirky. But you know, I don't consider myself a domb person. So it was just like this is what I'm like as an individual. And yes, there is a label being blonde but it doesn't define me. I wanna try the song 'bout being blonde. They showed me this track and I really liked it and just kind of singging along to it, singging with it and the song just flew pretty quickly.
