1. preferred の方は、下記のように「優先された」などという受け身の意味で、preferred customer 「他から好かれる客」「金払いのいい客」などと使います。対象として好ましい名詞が後に来ます。 http://eow.alc.co.jp/search?q=preferred 2. preferential の方は、下記のように「優先する」などという能動の意味で、preferential treatment「不平等の扱い」などのように（一部を優先させれば、後回しにされる部分も出てくる訳ですから）後に来る名詞は偏見のある好ましくない名詞がよく来ます。情に流された判決、裏口入学、などが連想されます。 http://eow.alc.co.jp/search?q=preferential ２の使うのは必ずしも間違いではないでしょう、K Corp がえり好みをする不公平な会社なら、あたっている訳です。
