とある参考書の１文です。 we desire to make some unique contribution, leaving the world a little different from what it would have been if we had not lived, and we want to be respected for doing so. 上記について、参考書の解釈では、 leaving the world a little different from…はmake…にかかる分詞構文 と記載されています。 なぜ、分詞構文だと分かるのでしょうか？ お手数お掛けいたしますがご回答のほど宜しくお願い致します。

we desire to make some unique contribution, leaving the world a little different from what it would have been if we had not lived, and we want to be respected for doing so. we desire to make some unique contribution 私たちは何らかの独自の貢献をしたいと願う この続きに， leaving the world a little different from what it would have been if we had not lived とあります。 leave the world (O) a little 以下が C で「O を C （のまま）にしておく」 世界を，もし私たちが生きていなかったらそうだったであろうのとは違った状態のままにしておく すなわち，自分たちが世に存在することで世界がよくなっているはずで， 存在しなかった場合の状態と少し違った状態のままにしておく。 これは，私たちがそれぞれ独自の貢献をしていることに他なりません。 leave の主語は we のはずで， , leaving は分詞構文と考えるのが自然です。 そして，「～しつつ，しながら」とおもな動詞と同時進行を表しています。 ここでは make some contribution に対して， 「～ままにしておきつつ，貢献する」 leaving ～することが，make contribution の別の側面といえ， 「～することによって貢献する」と言い換えてもいいです。 このような分詞構文は by ～ing と置き換え可とも言われるゆえんです。 分詞構文というのは，何らかの動詞に対して副詞的にかかっていくもので， desire ... という本当の中心，述語でなく，その中の make ... の部分 にかかると考えることが可能です。

While we live, we desire to make some unique contribution, leaving the world a little different from what it would have been if we had not lived. この文はleaving以下が分詞構文でleave O Cになっているのですが、どう訳せばよいでしょうか。訳では「我々は生きている間、何か独特の貢献をすることによって、世を去るときには世界を自分が生まれなかった場合とすこしは違うものにすることを願う。」になっているのですが、これってちょっと変じゃないですか？ 願うのは「独特の貢献をすること」ですよね？「世界を少しは違うものにすること」を望むとなっているのですが。しかも主節の部分が分詞構文のように訳されているのですが。 主節と分詞構文の間はどのように訳せば綺麗に行くでしょうか。 前から訳すと、「私たちは、生きている間、ある特別な貢献をすることを望み、自分が生まれてこなかったらそうなっていただろうと思われる世界と少し異なった世界にする。」 後ろから訳すと「世界を違うものにすることによって貢献することを望む」でしょうか。でも分詞構文に「～によって」などの意味はあるのですか？

art関連雑誌（和文もついている）でわからない部分があったのでご指導お願いいたします。 We were tolking about this alternative reality to the NY -centric art scene, in paticular the emerging artists from LA who never made it into the magazines. 僕たちはNY中心主義のアートシーンにかわる、特に雑誌にも出ていないようなコンセプトを持ったアーティストたちの話しをしました。 (1)このitは何を指しているのか、 和文だとit=コンセプト のような気もしますが、 英文のみ見るとthe alternative reality かなとも思いましたが、不自然でしょうか…？ (2)made it into the magazinesのセンテンス（make ~into A=itがAになる）という構文に当てはまらなくて？です。 (3)コンセプトという単語がないのになぜ出てきたのか、この英文の前後にもそんな内容のものは出てきていません。 以上です。 宜しくお願いいたします。
