１．何がキミに冴えない男と付き合う気にさせたのか？ What prompted you to associate with the dull man (like) that ? 2.>>次の英文で、文頭のDo と nuclear の間にuse of は必要でしょうか？ Do nuclear weapons really reduce the risk of war ? （核兵器の使用は、戦争のリスクを下げるのでしょうか？ いいと思います。use of を入れると次のような調整が必要ですが Does use of weapons ... 意味の方も少し問題があるかも知れませんね。

1. の 「男」 というのが、話しかけられている人にとっての異性であり、男女の間の交際という意味なら、associate よりも go out with ... というイディオムを用いる方がよりそれらしいのではないでしょうか （associate with ... だと、会社の同僚同士が社交上付き合う場合も含まれてしまう表現のように思います）。 また、文末の that に違和感があります。such a dull man とか、他に表現の仕様があるのでは？ 2. use of は不要だと思います。そもそも日本語の文からしておかしいです。「核兵器を使用」 してしまったらオシマイではないですか。「核兵器を保持することが」 というのなら分りますけれども。 英文の方は、私には問題ないように見えます。

After our boss reported his work to him, he took a joke, ‘the man who gave me this info told me that this is so expensive.’ This word aroused him and yelled. Then he himself called on the man who said it and clamed about it like child in the presence of us. It was really unbelievable scene. There is a problem wherever he is.

実際に行ってみないと、どのような結果になるかはわからない。住民に負担がかかってしまうかもしれないが、赤字の削減にもなり、それが地域の利益にもなる可能性があるのであればやってみる価値はあるように思える。 If we do not try, we will never know what result we are capable of. It may be a burden to the residents, but it also to be worth trying if it is possible to reduce the deficit and to benefit in the region. こちらの英文を添削して欲しいです。 よろしくお願いします。
