現在完了で「ずっとしている」という継続の意味が出るのは know, live のような進行形にしなくても「している」の意味が出る動詞だけです。 「死ぬ」という動作は継続しようがありません。 has died だと「死んでしまった」という完了・結果になります。 （many people などが主語になると、「死んできた」という意味になり、for ...とともに用いることができます） has been dying という現在完了進行形にすると、 「瀕死の状態が続いている」となります。 結局、「死んだ状態が続いている」は has been dead です。 日本語ではこんなこと言わないですが、英語的には has been sick「ずっと病気」と同じ感覚です。

dieは「死ぬ」という瞬間の変化を表す動詞です。 なのでdieを使って完了形を使うと「死ぬという瞬間がずっと続いている」というようなあり得ない状況になってしまいます。 一方deadは「死ぬ瞬間」ではなく「死んだ状態」を表す動詞です。 "for three years"という「途切れないまとまった期間」を表す副詞があるので、例えば「今この時、死んでいる状態だ」ということを表す"is dead"はこの場合使えません。なので完了形を使って「3年間続けて死んでいる状態でいる。」を表す必要があります。以上から、 My mother has been dead for three years. ・・・が妥当ということになります。

She ( ) for three years. (= She died three years ago.) (1)has died (2)has been dead (3)died 上記の()の欄に(1)(2)(3)のどれかを選択する問題なのですが、現在完了形を使わないといけないので、(3)が違うのは分かるのですが、(1)と(2)は両方とも現在完了形で動詞と形容詞を使っているだけで、意味は同じ気がするのですが… 分かる方がいらっしゃいましたら助言をお願い致します。

英語の問題を色々と解いていたら、 She has been died for 3 years. という文がありました。 この問いは間違いを記せという問題なのですが、なぜこの文は間違っていて、どう文を変えればよいのでしょうか？ dieは動詞としてどう使うのかなどよくわからないです。 回答よろしくお願いします。
