システムを起動すると This system is shutting down please save all work in progress and log off any unsaved changes will be lost This shut down was initiated by NT AUTHORITY\system message the system process 'c:\winnt\system32\lass.exe' terminated unexpectedly with status code 128 the system will now shutdown and restart という警告がでてしまい何度も同じ警告で1分以内に強制リスタートとします。 lass.exeとは何でしょうか？ system32から外しても大丈夫ですか？ 環境はWindows2000 server です。

私のWin2K Serverがお亡くなりになっているので、確認が取れませんが、「lass.exe」は、ウイルス駆除ソフトのようです。 ... Local Security Authority Service (lass.exe)の下で動作しているワームの スレッドを探し出して終了させます。lass.exeは、 同様な、報告があるようです。サーチエンジンでの検索結果を元にアドバイスするのは好みではないのですが、何か、お仕事に差支えがあるようですので、サーチの結果のURLを載せておきます。やたらに消すのではなく、レジストリーキーの変更が必要のようです。 http://www.ceek.jp/search.cgi?q=lass.exe http://www.ceek.jp の検索エンジンは、本日のNikkeのBiztecで紹介されたものです。

有難うございました。シマンテックのサイトからウィルス駆除ソフトをダウンし実行したら正常に戻りました。 原因はウィルス「W32.HLLW.Lovgate」でした。
