この部分の訳を教えてください

こんにちは。 多分この”～”までの文章は「コンピューター目線の意見」だと思います。 訳としては、「回線の欠陥だったら良かったのにな・・・とコンピューターが思っている」と彼は言った。つまり「電気システムやコンピュータの欠陥ではなく、回線だけの問題だったらな・・・」ぐらいでしょうか・・・？？ As far as the computer is concerned,if the circuit is defective,it must be good.という文章だったら、大体の方が理解できるんじゃないですかね？？ ちなみに「全く自信ない」ので、全然ちがったらゴメンなさいm(__)m

In the next sentence you mention that sometimes you like to sleep in it, so a better way to describe what you're saying could be... "A kotatsu will serve as a table, but it's not intended to be used as a bed." This way you're saying that it's not supposed to be a bed, but you could use it that way if you really wanted to. * I wasn't sure if this is what you were trying to say so I guessed.

こんにちは。よろしくお願いいたします。 パソコンについて書いてる文章の一文です。 For ordinary users it is perfectly safe to assume that if the computer produces a reasonable answer, it is the correct one. If errors are made, they tend to be of immense proporations, as when the computer has what can only be described as a nervous breakdown. まず、最初の文です。 it is perfectly・・・と、it is the correctの文は接続詞がないのですが、いいのでしょうか？意味はわかるのですが。it is sahe to assume that ～ で～を想定しても大丈夫。だと思います。ただthat節がどこまでかかっているか、わかりません。多分文末まででしょうが。 次の文です。 proportionsが答えでは「大きさ」と訳されているのですが、私の辞書には載っていませんでした。大きさでいいのでしょうか。それともそれに近い意味なのでしょうか？意味を教えてください。 次にas ～ as がわかりません。ここのasのあとにwhenがきてますが・・・まだ文章を読みなれてないせいか、文法ではasを勉強したのですが、わからないです。 以上、教えていただけませんか？よろしくお願いいたします。

It may be that japan,even thought it has no natural resources and must make and sell things to survive,does not have to work as hard as it does:and if the eagerness to work gradually declines,we may expect that the whole pace and rhythm of the land will change. もしかしたら日本は天然資源がないかもしれないけれども、生き残るために作ったり売らなければいけない。でも、懸命に働かなくてもいい(？)そして、もし熱心に働くということが下降線をたどるなら 私たちは全体のペーストリズムが変わることを期待するかもしれない.
