Most surprising of all, Chris was chosen to be the torchbearer for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic Games. 教科書にこの文がありましたが、このMost surprising of all,の構造（品詞）は何だと考えればよいのでしょうか。 most of all, は副詞句ですが、surprisingという形容詞が入った場合、most of allからの類似表現でよいのか、 it is ～ that か何かの省略と考えるのか、分詞構文で省略が行われているのか、なぜsurprisingly ではないのか、、、、教えてください！ ちなみに、Most surprising of all, の入った表現は60万件ほどヒットしているので通用しているとは思います。でもその解釈が不明なのでモヤモヤしています。よろしくお願いします。

That's difficult for me to believe since Japan has always been regarded as the most expensive place to purchase a house and to go shopping. The next paragraph says that 500 people are leaving England each day to live abroad because of high prices.

ずっと和文英訳の練習をしていたのですが、エッセイの練習に移行しようと決めました。 初めてのエッセイで読んでいただくのも恥ずかしいレベルです。 文法の間違いもあると思いますが、できれば構成面で気が付いたことがあればご指導ください。 どうぞよろしくお願いします。 Do computer games harm the development of children? I believe that computer games harm the development of children for the following three reasons. The primary reason is that playing computer games cause disease. For example, children tend to keep watching a computer screen without taking a rest. Therefore their eye sight gets worse. The second reason is that children cannot develop their communication abilities so long as they are just playing games. During the game they don’t have to either talk or make themselves understood. Communication needs someone to talk with. The third reason is that children can easily be addicted to computer games. Once they begin to play games, it is hard for them to quit. They get so absorbed in a game that they never notice the time and keep playing. In addition, they don’t feel like doing other things which they actually have to do. Computer games have power over children’s daily lives. For the reasons above, I believe that computer games harm the development of children.

英作文の宿題がだされて書いたのですが、コメントと直す部分を指摘されたのですが、 書いてあることがいまいちわかりません。けれども、自力で直した部分もあるので、あっているあどうか見てほしいです。お願いします。ちなみに、英作文の内容は日本のゲーム機の流行の移り変わりということを主旨としています。 （）のところは自力で直した部分です。 the originally popular japanese game machines is(are)"family computer" this machine is(was) known by name "famicom" "famicom"is a low price , high performance and a varied software game. この3行目のis～最後までも直したほうがいいといわれたのですが どういいかえていいかわかりません。 あと、コメントとして、a low cost, high performance what? とかかれたのですが、これはどういう意味なのでしょうか。 owing to the big hit of "famcom", various game machines were put on sale one after anther. ここにもコメントで give me an example. which one was the most popular ? why?explain. とかかれたので、for exampleとかいていくつかのゲーム機を挙げといたのですが これでよいのでしょうか？ i think the development of game machines is(are) good thing as entertaing thing for people と書いたのですがasから最後までの文法を直せといわれましたが、 どういう風になおしたらいいか検討がつきません。 自分的にはゲーム機の発展は人々を楽しませるものとしていいことだという風にかきたいのですが・・・。 コメントでは now explaining why it is a good . talk about which one you think is the best today. とかかれたのですが何をいっているのかさっぱりわかりません。 どうか、よろしくお願いします。
