こんにちは！ 大学院への入学希望だと思います。 Students will normaly be expected to hold 【an】 honors degree(which may be in any discipline ) or equivalent professional qualification. They should have a minimum of 2 years appropriate work experence. All candidates must meet our required level of English. ○honors degreeは、成績優秀者に与えられる学位です。全部Ａ（straight A's）とか取ると、一般の学位とは差をつけた学位をくれるのです。 ○discipline は「学問分野」のことです。any discipline ですから学問分野は問わないということ。経済専攻でも心理学専攻でもいいと．．． ○professional というのは、profession のということで、profession とは、資格を要するような知的職業のことです。教師とか医者とか弁護士とか公認会計士とか。 　ということで、入学要件として３つ提示されています。 １）原則として（normally）、優秀学位（学問分野は問わない）を保持しているか、それと同等と見なしうる（equivalent）知的職業の資格を有していること ２）少なくとも２年の、適切な（入学資格となるような）職業経験を持っていることが望ましい ３）当校の定める英語能力の基準をみたしていなければならない ３）は must ですから、絶対ですね。１）２）は normally ...be expected to / should ですから若干の余白を残した言い方になっています。例えば日本の大学を出ていれば、優秀学位などないわけですので、成績表を提示して、まあこれならというような成績であれば認めてくれるということでしょう。 　額面通りだとすると、ずいぶん厳しい条件ですね。私など門前払いどころの騒ぎではありません（泣）。 　以上、ご参考になれば幸いです。

英国系の学校のような気がしますが、 それはともかく、気がついた点と質問の回答です。 ＞もつことが期待されます。 既に持っていることが”求められる。”または、持っている学生であると”みなされる。”と言う意味のexpectです。 ＞which may be in any descipline。 disciplineは、学科と言う意味です。honor degreeならどの学科でも可であるが 。。。或いは取得している学科にかかわらずhonor degree を。。。 となります。 ＞私たちの英語のレベルに 学校が要求する英語レベルを満足すること。 となります。

NY在住の１６歳です。 入学条件 通常、生徒は入学する際、名誉ある学位（いかなる学科のものでも）あるいは専門家に相当する資格を保持している必要があります。 入学志願者は最低２年間の仕事経験が必要。 すべての志願者は私たちが要求する英語のレベルに達している必要があります。 という事です。これはビジネススクールですか？ まず修正ですが、あなたの質問のdesciplineはdisciplineです。 またprofeesional、experenceもスペルミスです。公の場に質問するのですから、スペルミスは許されませんよ。特にアメリカではスペルミスに気をつけないと、「自分の質を下げている人だ」「十分な注意を払わずにこの様に公に出しているという事は本人にとっては重要ではない事なのだ」と解釈されますよ。 本題ですが、あなたの最初の訳は大間違いだと思います。 あなたの解釈では「もつことが期待される」と書いていますが、あなたは「この学校を出ると、名誉ある学位、若しくは専門家資格を取得する事が期待される」と解釈したようですね。 しかしこれは　入学条件　です。 また、expectedという単語は普通「期待」よりも「要求される」という訳が適切であって、この文の言っている事は　生徒は入学するにあたって名誉ある学位、専門家資格を持っている必要がある　という事です。 Honors degreeとは４年生大学などによくある、通常学位よりも成績が優秀で取得した上級学位だと思います。 頑張って下さいね。
