Every December in London, the National Cage And Aviary Bird Show tries find the best "talking bird" in the world. One bird named Prudle stood out among the "talking birds" by winning this prize every year from 1965 to 1976 …以下省略 Q3.How many years in a row did Prudle win the speak contest for birds. a.12 b.800 c.35 d.1965 この問題でPrudleが鳥として何年スプーキングコンテストで勝ったかか と解釈し 1976-1965=11 としたのですが、選択肢にありませんでした。 Aが正解なのですが、どこから12がでてきたのでしょうか？ またHow many years in a rowのrowはどのように訳せばいいのでしょうか ご教授願います。 よろしくお願いいたします。

こんばんは． 65年から76年まで勝ったというのだから，12年連続ですよね :-) in a row で「連続で」という意味です．

こんばんは！ 私も計算は弱いのですが、もしかして1976-1964=12ではないでしょうか。1965年もコンテストは行われたのだから、引いてはいけないのでは？

自分も昔似たような間違いをしました。 １９６５から１９７６まで１つずつ指折り数えてみてください、きっと１１じゃなくて１２になります。 1976-1965だと1965を引いてしまっているので「１９６５が入っていない」のです。「1965から」というならば「引くのは1964」です。 １から４だったら4-1=3はおかしいですよね。 自分も同じ間違いをしていたことがあったので、つい書き込んでしまいました。
