二番です。前回は「one」を殆ど無視した大胆な意訳で攻めてみましたが、今回は「one」を生かした意訳はどうですか? 貴方とのひとたびのふれ合い、抱擁、接吻さえあれば、私は永久(とわ)の時を超えて生きることが出来る 甘すぎる、切なすぎる! 以上!

[rather ～than・・・]「・・・よりむしろ～」という使い方がありますよね． では，[had better]「～したほうが良い」に使うときはどうすればいいのでしょう？ 最初から「～したほうが」とついているので[rather]は必要なのですか？ 例：You had better (rather?) go there than stay here.「ここに居るよりそこに行ったほうがよい．」

今年6月の英検2級の並び替え問題ですが、和訳すればどのような意味になるのでしょう？ さっぱりわかりません。 Ａ：Soory I'm late,Mom. Ｂ: Jim,it's nearly midnight！( )so late and not even call. 1 better than 2 come home 3 know 4 you 5 to おそらく（ ）内は You know better than to come home となるように思えるのですが意味がわかりません。

Perhaps my attitude to television is the rather puritanical one that most people, and especially childrejm, should have something better to do than watch it very much. rather puritanical oneのoneはattitude thatはpuritanical oneと同格 と書いてあります。 rather～thanというのは熟語ですか？ 文の構造がとれなくて困っています。 できれば、どれが主語でどれが動詞か教えてもらえるとありがたいです。 お願いします。

文1（Do you think this book is more interesthing than the one he wrote.） 文２（The bananas in the box are better than those on the table.) 文１ではthe one 文２ではthoseがそれぞれbookとbananasの反復を避けるために使われているわけですが、この2つを入れ換えて文１にthose 文２にthe oneを使うことが出来るでしょうか？
