いわゆる too 形容詞 a 名詞 の形の構文です。 例）It's too difficult a book. 「それは難しすぎる本だ。」 （研究社『カレッジライトハウス』より） It was a difficult problem. 「それは難しい問題だ。」 の「難しい」を too 「～過ぎる」が修飾して It was too difficult a problem. 「それは難しすぎる問題だ。」 となります。 「～過ぎる」という意味の too は修飾する語句をひきつけますので、 『a 形容詞 名詞』という語順が 『too 形容詞 a 名詞』という語順に変わります。 もちろん名詞が不可算名詞の場合や、 可算名詞であっても複数形の場合は、 不定冠詞 a は不要です。

I took the TOEIC at the local university today, it was the first time to take the certificate examination. 地元の国立大学でTOEIC試験があった。 自分にとって最初のTOEIC試験だった。 Most candidates were university students, and surrounded by them, I felt that I became younger. 殆どは大学生で、少し若くなったような気がした。 Speaking of the test, it was difficult for me, especially listening parts. テストは難しかった。 特にリスニングは。 Although I was too tired after finished the test, I thought it was neccesary for me because it seemed to stimulate my boreing English study. テスト終了後、疲れたけれど、カンフル剤としてたまにはこういう試験も必要かなと感じた。 It was good experience to me. いい経験だった。 というような文章を書いてみたのですが、いかがでしょうか？ It was 形容詞という書き方が多いような気がしますが。 あと、it was neccesary for me というようにforを使ったのは、it for to構文からforを選択しましたが、 It was good experience to me.のtoは正しいでしょうか？ forか迷ったのですが。 アドバイス頂けないでしょうか？ 宜しくお願い致します。

- 形式主語Itを使わないで書くとどうなりますか？
It is difficult to drive a car.──形式主語を使わないで書くと、 To drive a car is difficult.というのはわかるのですが、 It is difficult for me to drive a car.──この場合は、 To drive a car is difficult for me.だったか、 For me to drive a car is difficult.だったか、 それともどっちでもよかったか、忘れてしまいました。 ご教示よろしくお願い申し上げます。
