下記の和訳について
students in the two sections therefore had from two to three and a half times more turns in the Interchange sections than in the oral discussions. という文章の'from two to three and a half times more turns'という部分は、「２倍から３．５倍、より発言をした」という和訳になると思うのですがこれであっているのでしょうか。ある和訳本では、この英文の和訳を「（オーラルの討論では）半数から３分の２増しの発言回数があった」と訳していましたが、どうも納得いきません。どちらの訳が正しいのか、教えてください。

「半数から３分の２増しの発言回数があった」という解釈は誤解でしょう。何より、3分の2はtwo thirdsです。 ここはfrom (two) to (three and a half times) more～thanで、ご指摘の通り、「2倍から3.5倍多く」という理解が当を得ていると思います。
