寿司をコンベアーで回しながら食べる、の英訳を"eat sushi with it turned on a belt-conveyer"と書いたら"turned"を"turning"になおされていました。やはり、"turned"ではおかしいのでしょうか？？

withを使った文の動詞部分が過去分詞か現在分詞かは、主語との関係で決まることが多いようです。 He was reading the book with his legs crossed.の文で明らかなように、legs は、heの意思によって動くものですから、受身を表す過去分詞です。 ご質問の文は、主語の意思によってすしが回っているわけではないので、過去分詞はおかしいわけです。 また、すしは、一定時間回り続けているわけですから、そういう時間経過を表す現在分詞の方が好まれるのでしょう。

そうですね、おかしいです。 eat sushi with it turned on a belt-conveyerだったら、 「コンベヤー・ベルトの上でひっくり返っている寿司を食べる」になってしまいます。 私が居住しているシカゴ近辺ではまだ回転寿しは珍しいんで、その説明文をネットで見つけました。 a central conveyor belt delievery system that wraps around the sushi making station ということです。

turned だと「回っている」というより 「逆さになっている」「ひっくり返ってる」 という意味になってしまうのではないでしょうか。 それより、「寿司をコンベアーで回しながら食べる」 というのは、「回転寿司を食べる」ということでしょうか？ 「回転寿司」は sushi-go-round で通じますよ。

I'm looking for a t-shirt with a picture of a cat prented on it. 度忘れしてしまったのですが、withはどのような構文だったでしょうか？前置詞として修飾している用法だと思うのですが（it＝T-shirt 付帯状況でないのは明らかですが）。宜しくお願いいたします。 また、番組の字幕で「Shirley Temple is Orange juce and Seven Up.That's what's it made out of.」と出ていたのですが、一瞬聞いた時には違和感があって音声を聞き直したのですが[That's what it is made out of.]と聞こえるのですがどちらが正しいのか？考えてみれば間接疑問なら後者だと思うのですが。宜しくお願いいたします。

The gentleman is talking with a happy look on his faceという正解文があったのですが、解説に、 「～を・・・して」は＜with～+前置詞の導く句＞の形・・・☆ とありました。自分なりに考えると、ここでいう”前置詞”というのは「with」のことをいっていると思うのですがあってますか？（ひょっとしてon？）そして”前置詞の導く句”というのは「a happy look on his face」のことをいっているのでしょうか？「～」が「a happy face」で、「・・・して」は「on his face」であってますか？ またThe girl with a red coat on is my sisterという正解文もあったのですがこれも☆の説明がありました。前置詞がwithで、前置詞の導く句というのがa red coat onであってますか？ 自信がないのでよくわかられてる方、回答よろしくお願いします。
