この英語、私の解釈は正しいですか？

オーストラリアの友人からきたメールにこう書かれていました。 が！！私は英語は長い文になると混乱して前後関係とかわからなくなってしまって。。。 わかるところは調べてなんとか自分なりに解釈はできたのですが、細かいところまでは訳せていないので教えてください。できれば全文の和訳をお願いします。文中の大文字のＫは私の名前が入ります。 私の解釈は・・・ 忙しすぎて助けが欲しいけどあなたは遠すぎる。毎日日本からオーストラリアに仕事のためにきていたら通勤費を補償して高い給料を払わなきゃいけない。そしたら破産しちゃうよ。だから、あなたの助けなしで忙しい仕事を続けなきゃならないよ。 という感じの冗談を言っているのだと解釈しました。合ってますか？ I am fine thank you and business is very busy. Right now I could use some extra help but Ｋ is too far away - I think travel to work every day from Japan to Australia, probably just a little too much (*_*) Also I would have to pay you such a high salary to compensate you for air fares, that very soon I would be bankrupt. So, for now I will have to continue with my busy business without your assistance (ha ha) よろしくお願いします。

アメリカに37年住んでいる者です。　私なりに書かせてくださいね。 訳も理解も良いと思いますよ。　冗談で言っていると言う事です。　結局、忙しいけどがんばらなくちゃね、と言いたいのを弱気を出したくないためにちょっと冗談ぽくいっているのでしょう。 これでいかがでしょうか。　分かりにくい点がありましたら、補足質問してください。

ありがとうございます！ ３７年外国に住んでいるなんてすてきですね＾＾ 私はいつかオーストラリアに住んでみたいと夢みたいなことを思っております（笑） 英文の内容はあっているみたいで安心しました。私は今、英語を勉強しているのですが、よろしかったら全文の直訳を教えてくれませんか？

翻訳に自身はあまりありませんが・・・大体 あなたの気持ちは嬉しいが、K（あなた）はここから助けてもらうには遠い。 もしオーストラリアから日本に毎日往復ぶんの旅費を払っていたら私はそのうち破産してしまうしね。 とにかく私は仕事をあなた無しで続けなければならないのさ（笑） といったかんじでしょうか。多分あなたの考えで正しいと思います。 間違っていたらごめんなさい
