Stay-stichとは伸び止め縫いのことです。 首周りは伸びやすいので、それを防止するためにその部分を縫いなさい ・・・て事だと思います。

front and back neck edges って前後の首周りってことですよねえ。 多分、首周りを中表に縫った後、表にひっくり返したら 首周りにそってステッチを掛けるってコトじゃないんですかねえ？ たとえば、クッションカバーを縫うとき 中表にして縫ってから、表にひっくり返しますよね。 で、形がはっきり出るように？、 外周の内側何ミリのところをステッチ掛けません？ それと同じじゃないかと思うんですが…。 図にのっていないなら、飾り縫いとかじゃないと思うし。 以上、想像で書きましたがお役に立ちますかどうか…。

今、ワンちゃん用の手作り服に凝ってます。 市販の本（型紙つき）も買いました。 一応、Tシャツやパーカーは何とか作れるようになったのですが ワンピースを作りたいと思ってます。 でも、今持ってる本ではワンピースの型紙どころか作り方もわかりません。何かおススメの本・サイトなどありませんか？

どなたか教えてください。 市販の型紙付きの子供服の本を見て、ワンピースを作りたいのですが、胸部分に「スモッグ刺繍」を入れたいのです。 刺繍の仕方は別の本に載っているのですが、こういう場合、指定された布幅よりどれくらい多めに生地を取ればよいのでしょうか？ 刺繍は一応前身ごろの左端から右端までズーッといれたいと思っています。 それと、万一、型紙の寸法より刺繍部分が広くなった場合、布端の裁断はどのようにすればよいのでしょうか？ 最初からスモッグ刺繍の入った子供用ワンピースの本に 出会えていませんので、今持っている型紙のもので アレンジしたいと思います。 急ぎませんので・・・よろしくお願いいたします。

こども服を作りたいと思い本屋や図書館で探すのですが、思うような服が載っているような物がみつかりません。作り方や型紙があるＨＰを検索してみたのですが、探し方が悪いのか見つける事ができませんでした。特に今は水着（女児）を作りたいと思っています。どなたかご存知ないでしょうか・・・？

(Knit more rows if you want to reduce the width of the neck opening.) Then bind off knitwise, with medium to snug tension. Neatly sew ends of the new edging to the ends of the top of the lace panel.
