英字新聞の和訳をお願いします。
9月13日のThe Japan Timesです。題は「Japan would support Bush」です。 Chief Cabinet Secretary Yasuo Fukuda brushed aside criticism at a news conference that the government had not warned Japanese in the U.S. of possible attacks, despite being warned last week by the U.S. government of possible attacks on U.S. facilities in Japan and South Korea.

具体的にどの構文がわかりにくいか、自分はこう解釈したんだけど他の方はどう思うか、この単語はこういう意味にとっていいか、などなど。 上手に聞けば、上手に教えてくれるものです。 nyantyanさんの聞き方はやはり失礼ですよ。申し訳ないですが。 ここのサイトは「宿題がわからないから教えて」っていうずうずうしい質問が多いので、何に使うのかという目的を明確にすることもお忘れなく。 ちなみに、英語が大して得意でもないわたしでも理解できる文章です。確かに変わった言い回しですけどね・・・。 細かい文法は抜きにして、まずは全体から意味をつかむようにしましょう。それから日本語に訳して理解しようとするのではなく、「英語」で理解しようとしてみてください。結局、英語は英語なのです。 ヒント：米国政府は近々報復テロの可能性が高いと警告しています。これは世界各地の米国施設に対しても同様です。しかに日本政府はどうも平和ボケをしているようです。当然、日本人は世界中にいるんですが、在外日本人に対して日本政府はいつも意識が薄いようです。まあつい最近まで在外邦人には選挙権すら与えられていなかったんですから・・・。

削除されるのを覚悟して書きます。 nyantyanさんが大学で勉強されているのであれば、このサイトで赤の他人に聞くより学校の教師に問うべき問題じゃないですか。大学以外のところで他人の力を借りて正しい和訳をだすことにどんな意味があるのでしょうか。 私も一応英語を勉強している身ですが、もし学校に通っていたら先ず教師にヒントをもらいます。それから自分の力で和訳をするのが筋と言うものじゃないですか。それでその和訳が間違っていたとしても、それがあなたの今の実力なのですから、次に何を勉強したら良いかがわかるんじゃないですか？ 私の通っている大学の生涯学習の英語の講師（ネイティブ）は「mistakeを恐れるな。どんどんmistakeをしなさい。」と言っていますが、そのとおりだと思います。
一応わたしも大学は英文学で翻訳が卒論で、んでもって英会話もいったし語学学校もいったしー。TOEICもうけたしきつい言い方かもと思ったんですが、わたしのほかにも同じようなこと言う人はいると思ったので書いてみました。学校の宿題なんだろうと思いました。 負けず嫌いっていいことだと思いますよ。 学校の宿題とかじゃなくてご自分のためにやっているとしたら、全部の意味を全部日本語に訳して完璧にわかる必要はないと思います。いまはだいたいの意味を大雑把にわかればいいんじゃないでしょうか。コレをずっと続けていたらきっと来年の今ごろはいろいろ辞書引いて調べなくてもわかるようになっていると思います。 あんまりがちがちにならないで、気楽にがんばってください。映画見るのも結構勉強になりますよ。
日本の新聞をよんだらだいたいの中身はわかります。それからその記事を読んでいったらどうでしょうか。9月13日の朝日でも毎日でも読んだらいかがでしょう。 「和訳をお願いします」って、ちょっとでも単語調べるなりなんなりしたんでしょうか。ここは英語好きな方いるので全訳してくれると思いますけど。そんなにむずかしい文章でもないし、三行だけだからちょっとがんばれば朝までには訳せると思いますよ。人にやってもらうより自分でやったほうがたのしくないですか？英語嫌いなら別ですが。

随分な言い方されますね。 私は、大学で英語を勉強しており、 自分の好きで英字新聞を読んでる者です。 この記事は、この20倍くらいの量がありました。ここの部分以外は、必死で辞書片手に2時間ほどかけて、できる範囲で訳しました。 ニュースも毎朝学校いく前に読んだり見たりしてます。 で、単語調べて、文法的にも調べて、でも、どうしてもここの部分だけが 上手く意味が取れないんですけど。 人がどういう思いで、質問したのかも分らないくせに、 そこまで言う必要無いと思います。 そういう事言いたいんだったら、どういう思いで質問者が質問しているのか まず尋ねたらどうですか。 こんな簡単な文章も訳せないで、申し訳ありません。
