手紙の最後に付ける言葉の意味

日本の手紙の「敬具」に当たる言葉で、 Until then というのは「そのときまでね」つまり「またね」で、best regards to you, your family and friend は、あなたとあなたの家族とお友達に最大の敬意を表します。つまり、「よろしく言って下さい」というような決まり文句です。その他に、Greetings to you and your family! なんて言い方もありますが、これも手紙の最後の決まり文句です。
