こな場合、カンマを付ける必要は無いと思います。 Whenから後の文が文頭に来る場合は、カンマが必要になるのではないでしょうか。 間違っていたらすみません。

例えば、英国Google のトップページ http://www.google.co.uk/ には「pages from the UK」というボタンがあって、これをONにしておくと英国内のページのみを検索できるようです。「pages from the UK」の意味がイマイチよく分かりませんが、「英国内に設置されたサーバーに登録されたページ」という意味ではないかと思っています。 米国Googleのトップページは次のようなものだと教えていただいたのですが、これらのトップページには英国Googleのトップページにあるようなボタン（例えば、「pages from the USA」のようなボタン）はありません。 http://www.google.com/ http://www.google.com/intl/en/ http://www.google.com/ncr 上記米国Googleのトップページから米国内のページ、あるいは米国内に設置されたサーバーに登録されたページ、あるいは米国人が作成したページのどれでもいいのですが、そのようなもののみを検索することはできるでしょうか。どのような設定にすればできるでしょうか。

こんにちは！ 久しぶりにHarry potterの本に関する質問をさせてください。 『HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE』(UK adult版)のp.82の以下の表現に関してです。 「They had only been at it for a couple of minutes, however, when a shout rent the still air.」 日本語訳では 「探しはじめてほんの２，３分もたたないうちに、大きな声がしんとした空気を破った。」 とあるのですが 「They had only been at it for a couple of minutes」 がなぜ 「探しはじめてほんの２，３分もたたないうちに」 と訳されるのかわかりません。 状況としては、ウィーズリーおじさんか、その場所で、一行に『移動キー』を探すように指示した直後の表現です。 もしかして 「彼らはほんの２，３ふんしかそこにいなかった」 からきているのでしょうか？ 教えてください。 よろしくお願いします。

A RED beam of light shoots to the ground from what is believed to be a UFO. 自分的には、下記のような翻訳が妥当なのかなとおもうのですが、 どうでしょうか？ タイトル：「攻撃？」 「UFOらしきものから、赤い光線が地面に放たれた。」 「A RED beam of light」は赤い光線でいいとおもうのですが、 「what is believed」というのがいまいちわからなくて。 それと、「What's zap?」は「攻撃？」でよいでしょうか？ 以上、よろしくお願いいたします。
