”full-form ground”とは？
車のギアボックスについての商品説明などで以下の例のように”full form ground”という言葉が使われています。 The gears are 15mm in width, straight cut and full form ground. The gearbox spur final drive gears are ‘full form ground’. Gears can be full form ground. groundは「研削する」ということだと思いますが、このような場合full formはどのような意味になるのでしょうか。アドバイスいただけると幸いです。

No. 1 の Haltwo さんの回答を読んでおりませんでしたが、いま読みました。Haltwo さんはアメリカでエンジニアをやっておられた方らしく、やはりお詳しいですね。おそらく彼のおっしゃる通りだと思います。

>>The gears are full form ground. こういう機械工学関係のことに詳しくはないのですが、おそらくは 「歯車は、その形の全体を（全周や歯車の歯の部分の細部も含めて、その歯車の形態の全体を）研削してある」 というような意味だろうと思います。文法用語を使って説明すると、この full form は"are ground" という受け身を表す言葉に添えられてある副詞句だと思います。

mustは未来を推測する意味はないと書かれているのを見たと同時に、 The ground must be muddy tomorrow. The rain must be temporary tomorrow. ”What are those workmen doing?” ”I think they must be going to dig up the road.” と言う文章が書かれているものも見ました。 このようにmustで未来を推測することはできるのでしょうか？ また、mustを使わずに「未来に～するにちがいない」、と言いたいときは どのような表現が最も適しているでしょうか？ どうぞよろしくお願いします。
