この英語のうまい訳を教えてください
As this department is not production driven, ..... という英文を訳しています。こういう形で「driven」を見たのは初めてです。 辞書で「-driven」を引くと「～主導の、～駆動型の」とあります。 なんとなく、「この部署は生産量（生産性）で計られる部署ではないので」のようなことを言っているのだと理解しますが、うまい訳があったら教えていただけますでしょうか。

生産を主な業務とした部署ではない 生産を主にした部署ではない 生産が主体の職場ではない などと訳してはどうでしょう？

＞「この部署は生産量（生産性）で計られる部署ではないので」 は誤訳だと思います。 notが無ければ「生産物を生み出すためにみんなが努力している」という状況ですね。 前後の文脈が不明で外しているかもしれませんが、「生産することが主目的でない」「生産が第一義で無い」 あるいは業界によってはドリブンのままのほうがニュアンスが伝わるかもしれません。 少なくともIT業界では普通に使います。
