The present form has remained unchanged for several centuries. In sumo, as in many Japanese arts, form and ceremony play an important role in creating the proper atmosphere. First-time spectators often complain about the lengthy preparation, but the various actions, such as stomping feet, clapping hands, and tossing salt are an essential part of the show . These rituals performed before the bout have a historical value in that they capture and preserve the traditions and glory of the sport. They also have a psychological value for the participants, as well as for the spectators, as the anticipation and excitement slowly build. While the formalities preceding the match take up to four minutes, the actual wrestling rarely lasts more than a minute. 日本語で「ご苦労様、ありがとう。」という言葉（雰囲気・状況をかねた場合）をブラジルの言葉でいうとどうなるのでしょうか？ この日本語をそのまま用いて直訳すると失礼にあたったり、意味が通じないと困るので雰囲気や状況にも適応した回答をお願いします。 （職場で例えると、お茶を出してくれたときや、ちょっとした行き交う際の挨拶といったとこるでしょうか？一日のあいさつのような・・・）

フランス語で「区」はarrondissenmentと言いますよね。そして、日本とは違い、番号で呼び、arrondissenmentは普通省略しますよね。 私は英語で書かれたフランス語の本でフランス語を復習しているんですが、英語の説明で少し不明な部分がありました。 No Parisian worth their salt would bother adding arrondissement to the number of the district in which they live. そこで質問ですが、“worth their salt”の意味がよく分かりません。直訳すると「彼らの塩に値する」となりますが、それはどういうことなのでしょうか？
