The wood is all long gone, but some of the contents remain to tell us a lot about the lives of the people who lived at that time. remain to do の形は珍しいと思います。この不定詞の用法を教えてください。一応、副詞用法の結果の用法かなと考えています。ですが、remain が割り込んで前に置かれた形で、主語を修飾している形容詞用法にも思えます。このような使われ方があるのかはわからないのですが。わかる方いましたら、この to 不定詞の用法を教えてください。
