Does anyone would like to hang out with me on either 1st, 2nd or 3rd of the next month? ぎこちない言い方になってしまうし、わかりにくいので、 I will be free on 8/1, 2 and 3. Would anyone like to hang out with me one of those days? Going swimmin' or something? というふうにしてあげると、誤解されることが少なくなります。 either orは一般的には二択ですので。

定年を迎えるものですが、”定年を迎えちょっと寂しい気持ちですがまだ後があるので頑張るつもりです”と表現したいのですが このときの”寂しい”と”頑張る”をどう表現してよいかｆｅｅl lonely でいいのかfeel sad かそれとも何かemptyな気持ちのような表現があるのか、また頑張るは今後も気丈にに生きていくぞという意味の表現ならhold out, hang on又はstick outなのか固まった頭脳でよく分かりませんのでご教示頂ければ幸いです、宜しくお願い致します。

My mother complains constantly that her teenage grandchildren do not call or text her; however, she does not call or text them either, claiming, "I just don't want to bug anybody." On the rare occasion that she does reach out, usually via text, she is never satisfied with their response.
