（from / a secret / we / our promise / kept ) our classmates. が、よくわかりません。日本語訳も教えてください。 別の質問ですが、次の文を英文にすると、 「ブラウン一族は石油会社を経営している。」 The Brown family run oil company. で正しいでしょうか？

＞最後の英文で、oil company の前に冠詞はなくてもよろしいでしょうか？ これは発話者の表現意志に帰する問題であり、どれが正解かということではありません。 The Brown family runs oil company. 『ブラウン一族は（もう既に誰もが知っているよう至極当然に）石油会社を経営している』 The Brown family runs an oil company. 『ブラウン一族は（色々やってるようなんだけれどもその一環として、あるいは今の所は一事業所しかないんだけれども）石油会社を経営している』 The Brown family runs the oil company. 『ブラウン一族は（先に触れた所の、あるいは巷で言われる所の所謂）石油会社を経営している』 といった違いがあり、ケースバイケースで使い分けされます。
