Faculty of Arts and Humanitiesは日本語で何と言うのでしょうか？ 人文社会学科ですか？なんかニュアンスが違う気がします。御存知の方いらっしゃいませんか？

reinvent the wheel という表現に対応する、こなれた日本語表現をご存知の方いらっしゃいませんか。「いちから作り直す」ことですが、ニュアンスとしては、既にあるものを使えばいいのにわざわざ無駄な努力を繰り返す、ということで、日本語でもぴたっとくる言い回しがありそうな気がするのですが。

- 北星学園大学で心理学を学ぶ事について
北星学園をご存知の方、そうじゃない方にも意見を頂きたいです。 心理・応用コミュニケーション学科（心コミュ） http://www.hokusei.ac.jp/faculty/humanities/department/psychology.html 福祉心理学科 http://www.hokusei.ac.jp/faculty/social_welfare/department/psychology_well_being.html この二つで迷っています。 心コミュは幅広く心理学を学ぶ環境が整っていて、特に異文化に触れる事が多い気がします。でも少々幅広すぎて専門的なものを深く学べるか不安です。 私はワーホリや留学をして海外に触れるのが夢なのでとても魅力的なのです。もちろん心理学もたくさん学びたいです。 一方福祉心理学科は、心コミュより心理学を深く学べるような気がします。表から見る限りなのですが・・・ 心理学を深く学んで、異文化にも触れていたい、という２つの願望がある場合どちらの学部が向いているのでしょうか。 どちらの学科もお互いに欠けている気がしました。 どの心理学を学ぶかによると思うんですけど、私はまだ心理学というものを一般的にしか知らないので、決めかねています。 それと、この大学は偏差値が高くないのですが（53くらい） 、このような偏差値の大学から、海外の大学院へ行く人ってどのくらいいるのでしょう。 ちなみに私は家の都合で道内からは出れないので、この心理学の大学をセレクトしました。 本当に心理学を学ぶには、考えが甘いと捉えられるかもしれませんが、 自分で決めた事は頑張って努力するつもりです。 ですのでご回答頂けるとうれしいです。お願いします。
