ホテルでカギを渡す時の言い方
ホテルに泊まっていて外出する時にカギをフロントに預けると思うんですけど、 その時に言う丁寧な言い方を教えて下さい。 お願いします。 自分が考えたのは以下のような感じですが、 こういったらどう思われるでしょうか？ Please keep this. Please keep this key card. Please hold this. Please hold this key card. I want you to hold this. I'd like you to hold this. See you. (と言ってただ差し出す)

せっかくいろいろ考えてみたようですが、実際に使えそうなのは最後の「See you. (と言ってただ差し出す) 」だけでしょう。 それもただいきなりSee you.ではかなり違和感があるので、やはり先の方が書かれているような挨拶を、この前につけるとよいでしょうね。 keepを使った文は、「あげるから、とっといて」の印象になるのでは？ holdを使った文は、「ちょっと、持ってて」の意味あいになると思います。 あと、私も何かお願いするときに「You」(あなたに)と言ってしまって「私でなく担当を行かせます」と言われたことがありますが、「I want you to～」だと「あなたにずっと鍵を預かっていてほしい」ことになってしまうので、適切ではありません。 ということで、挨拶だけして鍵を渡す、が一番しっくりくると思います。 部屋を留守にする、出かける、ということは鍵を出した瞬間に分かってもらえます。 Have a nice day.とか言ってもらえると思いますので、Thanks. You too.とスムーズに返せると、なおよいと思います。

私はホテルのフロントに鍵を預ける時に何か言ったことはありませんが、言うとしたら「I'm going out. Here you are.」でしょう。

私の経験上、フロント係は自分のホテルの鍵だと一見してわかりますので、わざわざ「この鍵を預かってください」という必要はありませんし、言ったことはないです。 Key Box（出かける時など鍵を落としておく箱）がなくてフロント係がいる場合は Hi, Hello, How are you?, Good morning, Good afternoon などの短い挨拶をして鍵を置くか本人に渡す。 連泊で顔見知りならば See you laterなども使いました。 余談になりますが、丁寧な言い方というよりフロント係の氏名を上記の挨拶に添えて言うと、自分を覚えていてくれてとても嬉しいと実際海外でホテルスタッフをやっている友達から言われました。

僕なら、人がいれば good morning などと言って渡します。近頃はリストラで誰もいなくてフロントのカウンターにあいてる穴におとすだけのことが多いです。

例えば文で、So what I'd like you to do is to fill this out and write down any diseases you have that you might want covered and I'll see what I can do.という文があって、 返答するときに、We can't write our diseases down for you because that's confidential.とありますか、that'sではなく、It'sではだめですか？ それは、極秘なんだ。みたいな返答だとして これは、極秘なんだ。というふうにいうとして、it's confidential という使い方はできますか？ 使いわけがよけできなくて困っています。 詳細に説明していただけませんか？お願いします。
