It is better to do as well as you possibly can and then learn to be happy for the person who gets the best grades この英文の訳が 出来るだけしっかりと勉強して、それから一番良い点数が取れる人のことを喜ぶことができるようにになる方がよい。 という訳だったのですが、最初の【できるだけしっかりと勉強して】という文はどこから出てきたのでしょうか？ 回答よろしくお願いします。

中学生用の教科書に次のような英文がありました。 Don't only give your care but give your heart as well. この英文中のdoは必要なのでしょうか？また、なぜdoが置かれているのでしょうか？ not only～but also Bでnot onlyが強調されて文頭に置かれる場合、助動詞＋主語＋動詞の語順に倒置され、助動詞のdoが置かれるのはわかるのですが、この英文は命令文であるため、倒置が起こっているとも考えられません。 どうかよろしくお願いします。
