>be動詞beを修飾する副詞というのはないんですか？ ありますね。 ただ、この問題にその理屈を当てはめるのはただの屁理屈というものです。 仮に She is (). という問題があったとして、'beautiful'と'beautifully'どちらも正解だとは言わないと思いますが。

ご存知マイケルジャクソンのWe are the World の歌詞に、And the world will be together as one. というのがあります。また、ジョンレノンのイマジンにも、And the world will be as one. というのがあります。 このas one とは、「一体となる」という意味と思われるのですが、間に何かが省略されているのでしょうか。（as if it were one）それとも違った解釈をすべきなのでしょうか。
