Q2 1) (To) send an e-mail doesn't take time. *1 2) Only a few minutes are (needed). *2 *1 This sentence is a bit awkward. How about substituting it with: → It doesn't take much time to send an email. (singular) → It doesn't take much time to send emails. (plural) *2 Emails are send within seconds. Letters, on the other hand, takes a few minutes/days. There's a difference between e-mails and mail [letters].

やり方を覚えるのに、せいぜい2時間しかかからない。の英訳として、 It doesn't take more than two hours to learn how to play it. としました。しかし、答えには It takes no/not more than(以下同じ) としか書いてありません。 時間について話すとき、doesn't takeという否定の仕方はできないのでしょうか？ よろしくお願いします。

下記の無生物主語の英文で、意味がほとんど変わることなく、１のtakeをbringに、２のbringをtakeに換えることは可能ですか？ もし、交換できないのであれば、その理由を教えてください。 1. A few minutes' bus ride will take you to the station. 2. Twenty minutes' walk will bring you to the station.

(1)Doesn't Elli ever take a vacation? a)She doesn't take one last year. b)She does, but she also works hard. -- CORRECT c)No, Elli does never take vacation. (1)の答えを選ぶ問題からです。 C)はNo, (Elli doesn't.) She never takes a vacation. ( aがぬけているのは出題者のミスプリかな？）で そう間違った文にも思えないのですが、b)も適切な答えだと思っていますが、C)が除外される理由がわからないでいます。よろしくお願いいたします。
