今わたしは仕事でやらなくてはならないことに追われています。 もし長いこと連絡が取れないようであれば言ってください。 安心してください。 という感じの意味だと思います。 Ask me when we could not reach me much longerは、 Ask me when you could not reach me much longerの間違いだと思いますけど。 ご参考まで。
