ある問題集を解いていて分からいところが２点あったので、教えていただけたらと思います。 １つめは、単文から複文の書き換えで、 Her death at so early an ege is greatly regretted. を複文に書き換えよ、というものなのですが、答えでは It is very regrettable that she should have died at so early an age. となっていました。ここで疑問に思うことは、 that節をshe died at so early an age としてはいけないのでしょうか。もしいけないのであれば、その理由もおしえていただけたらうれしいです。 そして２つめなのですが、 節から句の書き換えで (Though I repeatedly declined the reward),he strongly insisted that I should accept it. の（）を句に書き換えよというものなのですが、答えでは、 In spite of my repeated refusal to take the reward, となっていました。ここで疑問なのですが、なぜrepeatedなのかがよく分かりません。別解として、in spite of my declining the reward repeatedly となっています。ここでは名詞の役割をしている decliningをrepeatedlyで修飾しているように思えるのですが、いったいこの違いはどうしてなのでしょうか。 1度に２つも書いてすいません。どちらか１つでもいいので、おしえていただきたいです。よろしくお願いします。

夏休みに入り文法の復習をしています。分からない問題があったので教えてください。 ■誤りがあれば直せ She went into the room to find the baby asleep. これ間違ってないですよね？日本語は「彼女は部屋に入ると、赤ちゃんが眠っているのに気付いた」であっていますか？ ■複文に書き換えよ（2種類） We were expected to arrive at NRT at night. = It was expected that we arrived at NRT at night. = 一つしかわかりません。（これすら間違っているかもしれませんが）。もう一つも教えてください。 おそらく We believe him to be honest. = He is believed to be honest. = We believe that he is honest. = It is believed that he is honest. の書き換えを使うと思ったのですが上手くできませんでした。 よろしくお願いします。
