英語について
英語について The relationship between mass and acceleration is the same kind as that between force and acceleration. なんで、as～asの構文じゃないんでしょうか？ また、kindは、種類、と訳せばいいんでしょうか？ 正確な訳をお願いします。

asの意味は、前置詞だけではなく、接続詞や副詞、関係代名詞もあります。 （as against～で～に比べてという 文法では説明できない熟語のようなものもあります。） ですから the same～as～の文法的意味は、the same～that～と同様の意味で、 as以下は接続詞 the sameは ～同一の という意味になります。 因みに、訳は、「物体と加速の関係は、力と加速の類と同一である。」 文章はMa=F という物理公式のことを言ってます。運動方程式のことですね。
補足
asは様態を表しているんでしょうか？ でもなんで接続詞なんでしょうか？ 接続詞は、文と文をつなげる働きをするんですよね？ なんで、文と文をつなげる働きをしていないような文章になっているんでしょうか？

Crow参考 the same～as～はthe same～that～とほとんど同じ意味で用いられるが、述語動詞のない省略構文が続くときは the same～as～ となる。This is the same book as my mother gave me. kind は種類でしょう。

“This election is about the past versus the future,” Mr. Obama said at his victory rally in a stark portrayal of his political challenge.“ It’s about whether we settle for the same divisions and distractions and drama that passes for politics today, or whether we reach for a politics of common sense and innovation -- a shared sacrifice and shared prosperity.” また未解決だったもので恐縮です。この the same divisions and distractions and drama that passes for politics today のthe same ですが私としてはthe same ～that 構文ではなく、the same divisions and distractionsとdrama that passes for politics todayの2つに分かれthat はdramaのみの関係代名詞であるという方に大きく傾いております。 理由としては １） passes が誤植にしては（例えばplaysのsだけの誤植ではなく）pass+esというesの誤植というのはあまり考えられない ２） the same A and B and C thatということになるが、普通はthe same A, B and C thatとするのではないか。 ３） >「This is the same camera as I lost.」 >で、「無くしたのと同種(同型)の時計」 >「This is the same camera that I lost.」 >で、「無くした時計そのもの」 という区別が「一応」あること があげられます。ここでthe same A and B and C that構文だとすると「現在の政治としてまかり通っているのと全く同じAとBとC」という意味になってしまいます。 ただ、「that はdramaのみの関係代名詞」の問題点はdramaに冠詞がついていない点です。 そこで質問なのですが３）のthe same asとthe same thatの区別はあまり守られていないということですが、実際のところはどうなのでしょうか。これぐらいしか誤植かどうかの判断をする糸口がありません。 もし守られていないということであればこの文を理解する手がかりを教えていただきたいです。

自然な訳をお願いできますか？ I do think it's creepy, and because thereis a connection to these characters that are fallible, and i think that is the main draw over and above the horror. I think the great connectedness is that they contradict themselves, they're full of contradictions. As we discussed earlier, no one is who they seem to be and that is kind of who we are.
