たまたま目にしたJohn LennonのImagineの歌詞なんですが、 第２スタンザ： Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace.... の４行めは And no religion eitherが文法的に正しいのではないか、とふと考え込んでしましました。 それともこういうときにはAnd no religion tooこそが文法的に正しいのでしょうか？この場合、either と too では意味/ニュアンスが違ってくるのでしょうか？ ご教示ください。

There are times when the sea is nearly still , though no doubt even when it looks like glass there are waves in it too small for us to see. 「」 『・・・, though no doubt even・・・』 の部分のthoughの意味はどういう意味ですか? コンマで切れているので「けれども～」ではないと思い、 辞書を見てみると「たとえ～でも」もあてはまりそうですし、 見た事がない用法ですが「最も～だが」の意味もあてはまりそうです 『・・・there are waves in it too small for us to see.』 の英文の構造がよく掴めなくて、 itはinの目的語だとして、後ろの『too～』がどう掛かっているのか分かりません too～to構文なのは分かっているのですが・・・ too以降が副詞としてareに掛かっているのですか? itとsmallの「名詞←形容詞」の関係の間にtoo～toが入ったと考えるのですか? よく分かりません・・・

回答ありがとうございます。classという単語は多義語でわけるものが原義で、「組、階級、授業」とあって、階級を指していることが指摘いていただいたことでわかりました。primate, turf, haremsやその他の単語が分からなくても、わかるだろうと思っていましたが、単語が不足していると読む速度はとても遅くなりますね>_< Turfは「protect」の目的語なので、守るものをさしているのは分かったのですが。本当に単語力が不足していると感じました! 知らない単語があったとしたら、どう読んでいくのか知りたく、このような質問のかたちをとらせていただきました。
